Candle Labels

Candle labels are labels that are used to identify and provide information about candles. They can be used by candle manufacturers, retailers, or individuals making candles at home. Candle labels typically include information such as the product name, scent or fragrance, size, burning time, and any safety information. They may also include logos, branding, or marketing messages to help promote the product and attract customers.

The use of candle labels can help ensure that consumers have access to important information about the candles they are buying, including scent, size, and safety information. They can also help businesses differentiate their products and build brand recognition.

Product name: The name of the candle should be clearly and accurately identified, such as “Vanilla Bean Candle” or “Peppermint Essential Oil Candle.”

Scent or fragrance: The scent or fragrance of the candle should be indicated on the label to help customers choose the right scent for their preferences.

Size or weight: The size or weight of the candle should be clearly displayed on the label, usually in ounces or grams.

Burning time: The estimated burning time of the candle should be listed on the label, indicating how long the candle will burn before it is completely consumed.

Safety information: Any relevant safety information should be included on the label, such as warnings to keep the candle away from children and pets, to not leave the candle unattended while burning, and to not place the candle near flammable materials.

Ingredients: A list of all ingredients used to make the candle should be provided on the label, including the wax, wick, fragrance, and any additives.

Manufacturer or seller information: The name and contact information of the manufacturer or seller should be included on the label, such as the company name, address, and website.

Alternatively, we have Roll Labels

Roll labels are labels that are supplied in a roll form, with multiple labels printed on a continuous roll of material. Roll labels can be used for a variety of purposes, such as product labeling, barcode labeling, and packaging labeling.

Roll labels can be made from a variety of materials, including paper, polypropylene, and more, depending on the application and intended use of the label.

So why use a roll label?

  • Customisation: Roll labels can be customized with a variety of designs, colours, and branding elements. This can help candle products stand out on the shelf and create a memorable brand image.
  • Information: Candle products often require labeling with important information, such as product details, usage instructions, and safety warnings. Roll labels can be printed with clear and legible text, ensuring that all necessary information is easily visible to consumers.
  • Durability: Candle products can be subject to heat, moisture, and handling, which can cause labels to peel or fade. Roll labels are designed to withstand these conditions and remain intact, ensuring that the label stays readable and attractive throughout the product’s lifespan.
  • Convenience: Roll labels can be dispensed quickly and efficiently, making them ideal for high-volume candle production. This can save time and increase productivity in the production process.
  • Cost-effective: Roll labels can be produced in large quantities, which can help reduce the overall cost of labeling candle products. This can be especially beneficial for businesses that produce large volumes of candle products.

Labelling Materials for Candles

Matt White Paper Labels

Our matt white labels are our most economical affordable product, being made out of a matt white paper label with a water-based acrylic adhesive. These labels are one of our most used products, which we stock in all sizes, and can be made and dispatched same-day on orders before 3pm. These labels are great for labelling candles and can go up to temperatures of 80 degrees.

Plastic Poly Labels

Plastic Polyester Labels are robust and liquid resistant and can go up to temperatures of +/- 20 degrees. If you wanted to make sure the label won’t be ruined by wax potentially hitting the label, these are an excellent choice. It is important to note not to put these labels too close to the wax tip to avoid them being melted as they are essentially made from plastic.

Transparent Labels

Transparent labels are a great alternative to our matt polyester labels, with their completely see-through label properties, they will showcase your branding directly onto the candle without the white background of a white label. These are also made of polyester plastic, which means they will also work as effectively as our white labels in being resistant to wax that may come into contact with your label.

Bagasse Biodegradable Labels

Bagasse labels are extremely eco-friendly. Made out of sugar cane waste, and hemp linen fibre, they are the only paper labels in our stock that are not only biodegradable but also compostable and vegan-friendly. They can really add that extra touch of elegancy with their laid textured feel, excellent for promoting a sustainable product, especially if your branding focuses on eco-friendly packaging.

Ribbed Brown Kraft Labels

Maybe you are after something a little more unique and rustic? We supply and stock ribbed brown kraft labels, which as the name suggests, have a ribbed textured feel to the label surface. They are a fantastic option for creating a homely, warm feel to your candle products, especially around the holiday season. These labels are made from paper and are completely self-adhesive as with all of our stocked products with the exception of our removable labels.
