Soap Labels

Soap labels are stickers or tags that are affixed to a bar or container of soap. These labels typically provide important information about the soap, such as the ingredients, fragrance, weight, and usage instructions. Soap labels can also include branding information, such as the manufacturer’s logo or name, as well as any certifications or regulatory information.

In some cases, soap labels may also include decorative elements or images that help to convey the product’s scent or purpose. Overall, soap labels serve as a way for manufacturers to communicate important information to customers and differentiate their products from others on the market.

The required information on a soap label may vary depending on the country or region where the soap is being sold. However, here are some common pieces of information that may be required or recommended to include on a soap label:

Product name: The name of the soap, should be descriptive and easy to understand.

Net weight: The weight of the soap, typically measured in ounces or grams.

Ingredients: A list of all the ingredients in the soap, in descending order by weight. This may be required by law, especially if the soap is intended for cosmetic or medicinal use.

Directions for use: Information on how to use the soap, including any special instructions or warnings.

Manufacturer information: The name, address, and contact information of the manufacturer or distributor of the soap.

Batch number: A unique identifier for the batch of soap, which can be helpful for quality control and tracking purposes.

Expiration date: If the soap has a shelf life, the expiration date should be clearly indicated on the label.

In addition to these required pieces of information, soap labels may also include optional information such as:

  • A logo or brand name
  • Fragrance information
  • Certifications (e.g. organic, cruelty-free, etc.)
  • Decorative elements or images.

Alternatively, we have Roll Labels

Roll labels are labels that are supplied in a roll form, with multiple labels printed on a continuous roll of material. Roll labels can be used for a variety of purposes, such as product labeling, barcode labeling, and packaging labeling.

Roll labels can be made from a variety of materials, including paper, polypropylene, and more, depending on the application and intended use of the label.

So why use a roll label?

  • Customisation: Roll labels can be customized with a variety of designs, colours, and branding elements. This can help soap products stand out on the shelf and create a memorable brand image.
  • Information: Soap products often require labeling with important information, such as product details, usage instructions, and safety warnings. Roll labels can be printed with clear and legible text, ensuring that all necessary information is easily visible to consumers.
  • Convenience: Roll labels can be dispensed quickly and efficiently, making them ideal for high-volume soap production. This can save time and increase productivity in the production process.
  • Cost-effective: Roll labels can be produced in large quantities, which can help reduce the overall cost of labeling soap products. This can be especially beneficial for businesses that produce large volumes of soap products.

    Labelling Materials for Soap Products

    Waterproof Polyester Labels

These waterproof polyester labels are fantastic for withstanding exposure to water and other liquids. The most likely storage of your soaps would be the bathroom too, so these labels would be an excellent choice if you want to keep your label in good condition.

    Gloss Transparent Polyester Labels

Gloss transparent labels are also made from polyester plastic, making them great against water damage. They differ from a regular white polyester label, with their transparent clear look. This means you will be able to see your soap through the label.

    Ribbed Brown Kraft Labels

Kraft paper labels have a rustic, natural look that can be a good fit for handmade or artisanal soaps. They also have a ribbed texture to them, which can be extremely complimentary if you are going for a homely and natural branding image.

    Biodegradable Labels

Maybe your products are made from natural eco-friendly ingredients. Our biodegradable labels are made from sugar cane waste and hemp linen fibre, making them both compostable and vegan-friendly. They will biodegrade over time, as well as be impacted by water however, so these labels would only be suited to a product that doesn’t need a permanently stuck-on label.
