Lager Bottle Labels
Lager bottle labels can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, whether you would prefer them on a waterproof material or a paper material. They also need to fit the size bottle that your beer is supplied in.
With the alcohol industry expected to grow 16% per year from 2022-2025, it is important to keep up with an already very competitive market. It is important to stand out against your competitors and a cool looking attractive label is the best way to grab the customer’s attention. It is not just the Craft Beer companies that are creating funky designs for their products, larger labels are starting to follow the same trend. Our artwork design service can help create a professional lager bottle label to stand out on the shelf.
Whether you are just starting up or already an established brewery selling many bottles every week, we have you covered. Feel free to email email@example.com or call us at 0330 111 8484
If you would like to test any of our quality materials, you can order a sample pack to get a feel of what material or adhesive works best for you:

Alternatively, we have Roll Labels
Roll labels are labels that are supplied in a roll form, with multiple labels printed on a continuous roll of material. Roll labels can be used for a variety of purposes, such as product labeling, barcode labeling, and packaging labeling.
Roll labels can be made from a variety of materials, including paper, polypropylene, and more, depending on the application and intended use of the label.
So why use a roll label?
- Cost-effective: Roll labels are typically more cost-effective than other labeling methods, especially for larger quantities of labels. This can be particularly advantageous for businesses producing a high volume of lager bottles.
- Easy to apply: Roll labels are designed to be easy to apply, especially when using a label dispenser. This can help to save time and increase efficiency in the labeling process.
- Versatile: Roll labels can be produced in a variety of sizes, shapes, and designs, making them a versatile option for labeling lager bottles. They can also be printed with custom designs and branding to help distinguish the product from competitors.
- Durable: Roll labels can be made with durable materials and adhesives, making them resistant to moisture, heat, and other environmental factors that can affect the quality of the label.
- Professional appearance: Roll labels can provide a professional and polished appearance to lager bottles, which can help to enhance the overall presentation of the product and appeal to consumers.

Where can you put a Craft Beer Label on a bottle?
Neck label – Not everyone chooses to have a neck label, it is not important to have but can give a nice finishing touch to the top of your beer bottle. This often just consists of a small logo or slogan. Although only 6% of visual attention goes onto the neck, companies still spend a minimum of £ 3 billion per year at an average of 1p per label (That’s a lot of labels!)
Back Label – Going by the law, this is your most important label, the most boring but most important. This would include the alcohol strength and units, producer, ingredients, and expiration date. Although only 4% spend time viewing this label, you can’t sell your product without it, so make sure it is perfect!
Front Label –Going from the stats of research from Anglia Ruskin University, the other 90% of the customers viewing is on the front label. The artistic, creative, good-looking side. The side where you show off your product and make those extra sales! We can help you get your artwork ready and print the perfect label.
Wrap-Around Label – The wrap-around label is a combination of the front and back labels into a singular label around the whole bottle. These are most popular for smaller bottles and can labels, providing all the information you need in one size and job run.
Labelling Materials for Lager Bottles
Waterproof labels are good for beer labels because they offer excellent resistance to moisture and humidity. When beer bottles are stored in refrigerators or ice buckets, they can be exposed to condensation or moisture, which can cause paper labels to peel or become damaged. This can make the label difficult to read and can detract from the overall appearance of the bottle.
Matt white paper labels have a clean, modern look that is well-suited to beer labels. They provide a non-glossy, uncoated finish that can help to give a natural or vintage feel to the label. Matt white paper labels are also generally more cost-effective than other label materials. This makes them a great option for smaller craft breweries or for limited edition or seasonal beers where cost is a consideration.
Gloss white labels have a shiny finish that can make the label stand out on the shelf. This can be especially beneficial for brands that want to create a premium or high-end image. These labels offer a high-quality print too with vibrant colours and sharp clear text.
