Materials & Application

What Are Freezer Labels Made From?

Our freezer labels are printed on matt white paper, combined with a wood-free kraft backing paper. These labels have a special adhesive that makes them ideal for food labelling in cold temperatures. But when applying or repositioning the label, it should be done above 0°C, ideally when you are first applying them to the product.

Freezer labels have been made to withstand harsh conditions and are ideal for personal and business use where food, drink or other perishable materials need to be stored in freezing temperatures.

How Can You Print on Freezer Labels?

You can easily print information on these labels by using both laser or inkjet printers, as well as in photocopying machines, or you can simply handwrite on the labels if that’s most convenient for you
Label Usage

What Are Freezer Labels Used For?

Freezer labels can be used for food labelling, whether it’s for displaying allergy information, use-by dates, ingredients, or cooking instructions, our range of freezer labels are suitable for the job! Food labelling is extremely important for businesses such as restaurants and cafes that are reliant on strict labelling and tracking to ensure high food hygiene levels. Food labels are also ideal for domestic use, as food can sometimes be forgotten when stored in the freezer, meaning you might not know when it was cooked.

Being able to identify samples and other medical research is incredibly important, and so our freezer labels could be key in that process. Our freezer labels have been tested down to minus 40°C, and so will work at temperatures within this range.
